Greetings, blog-fans. We hope you have had a fun and active weekend; we’re winding down from a crazy couple of days up in Dundee and Perth
A giant bear was there to meet us on arrival in Dundee, quite an eye-catching mascot for Scottish Society Autism. A few of you runners managed to catch him for a snazzy picture after the run. There seemed to be a really positive young vibe buzzing throughout the course, it seems there are a lot of you out there getting started early on your running careers!
So it was onto Perth on Sunday. There was a vast array of runners – some in fancy-dress – making stacks of cash for good causes. 19 ladies completed the course in support of those suffering Alzheimer’s Disease, and there were also runners for Parkinson’s UK making their way round. Spotted as well were a group of Boy-scouts in kilts and a heroic-looking Spiderman amongst many others!
!
Congratulations to everyone who ran on Saturday and Sunday, and particularly to those who raised a lot of money for specific charities. There are some big runs coming up in Glasgow and Edinburgh next weekend, we hope to see you there!
